Columbia and Threadneedle Exhibition

As stated previously, this image has been selected to be hung in the Columbia and Threadneedle Exhibition. I have been fascinated by the comments. So many people have described this as a wall - without seeing the shadow of the tree dancing in the top third.
As I have already said, this image is about living in big cities and passing the social housing estates. All that we see are the walls and forget completely the lives contained within. The shadow of the tree dancing on this wall reminds us of the life/lives that are inside.
It's extraordinary (but perhaps demonstrates all too clearly the point I am making) that so many people can't see the tree.
